What to expect from our delivery service
You will have been given a due date for your baby during huduma za kabla ya kuzaa sessions. This is not an exact date but will give you a good indication of when the baby will come.
When you go into labour, we will assess you and determine the safest mode of delivery for you.
We’ll review your antenatal record and birth plan and conduct a full clinical examination to determine the status of your baby, your stage of labour and identify any conditions that may need attention.
You and your baby’s health will be monitored throughout, and we’ll support you through the entire process.

What happens after delivery?
After delivery, you and your baby will receive immediate care, and continue to be monitored. We’ll help you feel comfortable and give you support to start breastfeeding.
Before leaving hospital, you’ll receive advice on self-care, birth spacing, infant care, feeding, and postnatal care.
