Our partnerships are built around meeting clients’ needs

We often collaborate closely with numerous partners in the public and private sectors to ensure facilities that are not already served by other family planning partners, are actually being prioritized.

MSI Tanzania will continue to build partnerships for increased donor support, enabling us to spearhead new promotional campaigns and enhance delivery channels for our clients.

Local partnerships

At regional and district levels, we participate in council planning meetings to plan reproductive health service provision in communities.

Closer links with local health authorities are central to our work, enabling our outreach sites to be carefully selected, and ensure facilities that are not already served by other family planning partners are prioritized.

We use the District Health Information System (DHIS2) coupled with census data to analyze and select the facilities with the lowest family planning performance and highest unmet needs.

Low availability of services to clients in hard-to-reach areas also shapes our partnerships, as we provide training to healthcare providers from these locations.

Complementing our services

To enrich our services across Tanzania, we also support public sector strengthening.

This includes expanding our service provision as key partners in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) education.

By reaching more clients and raising more awareness of SRH issues, we are able to further focus on reaching the most under-served communities in Tanzania.
